Krafton has confirmed that PUBG Lite will be shut down on April 29th. Any new downloads of PUBG Lite have already been stopped starting March 30. The game will stop working on April 29th, 2021. The official website has also been taken down. Players are also seeing the in-game message about this decision.

The company didn’t confirm the exact reason for the shutdown. So, we cannot say why it decided to stop offeing this free to play game.

PUBG developers introduced the Lite version of the game back in 2019. This game helped players run the battle royale game on budget and midrange laptops and desktops. PUBG Lite was also a free-to-download game. This is the reason many people choose to play PUBG Lite.

Players still have almost a month to complete missions or spend their in-game coins.

If you continue to play PUBG, you need to purchase PUBG. You can get it from Steam where it costs Rs. 999. PUBG has better graphics and sound effects than PUBG Lite. PUBG also offers a better gaming experience with more difficult gameplay.
