Paypal is another company that is now allowing its customers to use cryptocurrencies. The company has launched the “Checkout with crypto” option to pay with cryptocurrencies.

Paypal customers in the US who own cryptocurrencies will be able to choose to check out with crypto within Paypal at checkout. This option can easily convert cryptocurrency holdings to fiat currency1 at checkout with no additional transaction fees.

Checkout with Crypto option should now appear in the PayPal wallet at checkout for US customers who have sufficient cryptocurrency balance to cover the purchase they are making.

Customers will be able to select from several cryptocurrencies including Bitcoin, Litecoin, Ethereum, or Bitcoin Cash, depending on what they are holding with Paypal. Only one type of cryptocurrency can be used for purchase.

Checkout with Crypto option is now being rolled out to PayPal customers in the U.S. today.
