OnePlus CEO Pete Lau has confirmed another interesting thing about the upcoming OnePlus 9 series. Customers will enjoy a two-year warranty on the OnePlus 9 and the OnePlus 9 Pro.
Smartphones come with a standard 1-year warranty in most countries except European Union where customers enjoy 2-year warranties for all electronics. Having 2 years of warranty could be an existing thing for customers.
The company found that most people keep their phones for around two years before upgrading. So offering two years of warranty will benefit them. OnePlus already offers 2 years of Oxygen OS updates and an extra year of security patches. Now customers also have 2 years of hardware support. If they are not doing any physical damage to the phone, their OnePlus flagship will have full support for 2 years.
OnePlus 9 series will be launched on March 23. Unlike other brands, OnePlus will ship phones with a Wrap charger in the box.
