Black Shark just announced the Black Shark 4 and Black Shark 4 Pro gaming smartphones in China. Both the phones come with a 144Hz display, powerful processors, and 120W fast charging.
Black Shark 4 and Shark 4 Pro come with the same 6.67-inch Full HD+ display with 144Hz refresh rate and HDR 10+. Both the phones run on JoyUI 12.5 based on Android 11.
BlackShark 4 comes with an octa-core Snapdragon 870 Soc with Adreno 650 GPU. On the other hand, Black Shark 4 Pro packs Octa-Core Snapdragon 888 SoC with Adreno 660 GPU. Black Shark 4 is offered in 4 variants: 6+128, 8+128, 8+128 and 12+256GB. Black Shark 4 Pro will be available in 8+128GB, 12+256GB, and 16+256GB variants.
Both the phones come with a quad-camera setup but have a different primary sensor. Black Shark 4 comes with 48 megapixels primary camera, 8 megapixels 120° ultra-wide camera, and 5 megapixels super macro camera. Black Shark 4 has 64 megapixels primary camera, 8 megapixels 120° ultra-wide camera, and 5 megapixels super macro camera. There’s a 20 megapixels selfie camera on both phones.
The fingerprint sensor is under the display. Black Shark 4 Pro also has Dual 1226 super linear 7-magnet speakers.
Connectivity options include 5G SA / NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6 802.11 ax (2×2 MU-MIMO ), Bluetooth 5.2, GPS/GLONASS/Beidou, USB Type-C, and NFC. Both the phones pack the same 4500mAh battery with 120W fast charging, and support for QC, PD fast charging.
