Samsung has launched a new smartphone Samsung Galaxy A12 in its Galaxy A series of smartphones in India. The phone starts at Rs. 12999 and will be available starting February 17, 2021.

Samsung Galaxy A12 features a 6.5-inch (1560 × 720 pixels) HD+ LCD Infinity-V display. The phone runs Android 10 with Samsung One UI 2.5 out of the box. The device is powered by a MediaTek Helio P35 octa-core processor with PowerVR GE8320 GPU. It has 4GB RAM and will be available in 64GB and 128GB Storage options. Storage is also expandable up to 1TB via micro SD card.

The phone has a quad-camera setup that includes 48 megapixels primary camera, 5 megapixels ultra-wide-angle camera, 2 megapixels depth camera, and 2 megapixels macro camera. There’s an 8 megapixels selfie camera.

The fingerprint sensor is on the power button at the side. It offers Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS and USB Type-C Connectivity. The phone packs a 5,000mAh battery with 15W fast charging.

The phone comes in Black, Blue and White colours. It measures 164 x 75.8 x 8.8mm and weighs 205g.

Interested customers can purchase the phone from any authorized retail store, Samsung.com, and leading online portals starting February 17, 2021.
