Social media giant Facebook has launched a new experimental app BARS. The app looks and feels like TikTok but aims at budding rappers. The app has been developed by Facebook’s New Product Experimentation (NPE) R&D team and is available under closed beta.
BARS app lets users use inbuilt tools to create and share raps. The app also has professionally created beats to use in raps. The app suggests rhymes using a rhyming dictionary. The app has some notable tools like Clean, AutoTune, Imaginary Friends, and AM Radio to change the vocal output.
The app also has Challenge mode where you can get the ability to freestyle along with auto-suggested word cues.
BARS app is now available to download only in the US and is initially accessible for a small number of iOS users. If you are interested, you can sign up for the waitlist in the app.
