Facebook has finally started rolling out Messenger on Oculus headsets, If you have logged into a Quest or Quest 2 using your Facebook account, you will be able to chat with your Facebook friends while wearing the headset.

This will allow you tube message in VR, send pre-written texts and use voice-to-text feature for the charing.

If multiple VR users want to talk, they can create an Oculus party from within Messenger to group up in. They can also play a multiplayer game.

Facebook has also made it clear that using Messenger on Oculus won’t affect your Oculus privacy settings. You have an option to sign out of Facebook Messenger. Use it before sharing your headset with any person.

Oculus is also rolling out App Lab, a platform where developers can share their VR games. This platform will feature apps that couldn’t make it to the main Oculus Store. This move will help the company to maintain a high level of quality within the store while giving developers a way to share their creations. Any app you buy at Lab will be added to your Quest library.
