Xiaomi India has launched its new laptop Mi Notebook 14 (IC) in India. As the headline of this article says, the laptop comes with a built-in webcam. No, a built-in webcam is not a big deal in laptops but Xiaomi’s earlier laptop offered external USB webcams in place of a built-in webcam. So, it is important to note this.

Mi NoteBook 14 (IC) seems much similar to the standard Mi Notebook 14 in specs. The new laptop comes with a 14-inch FHD screen with an 81.2% screen-to-body ratio and 178° wide viewing angle. It packs 1.6GHz Intel Core i5-10210U with 2GB GDDR5 NVIDIA GeForce MX250 graphics and 8G DDR4 2666MHz RAM. It is offered in 256GB or 512GB SATA storage options.

The laptop runs on Windows 10 Home Edition out to the box. Connectivity options include WiFi 802.11ac 2×2 (2.4GHz and 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.0, 2 x USB 3.1 port, 1 x USB 2.0, HDMI 1.4b, 1 x USB-C for data and charging. It also has 2x 2W stereo speakers with DTS audio and a headphone/microphone jack.

The laptop has sleek unibody metal chassis layered with an anodized sandblasted coating. It comes with scissor-switch keyboard mechanism with 1.3mm key travel but lacks backlit. The laptop also has multi-gesture trackpad.

Mi NoteBook 14 (IC) packs a 46W battery and promises up to 10h battery life. The laptop is shipped with a 65W adapter and supports fast charging.

Mi NoteBook 14 (IC) comes only in silver color. The 256GB storage model costs Rs. 43,999 and 512GB storage version costs Rs. 46,999. The laptop is now available from Mi.com, Mi Homes, Amazon.in, Flipkart and retail partners.
