Someone is selling Facebook users’ phone numbers through a Telegram bot

A big database containing Facebook users’ phone numbers is up for sale using a Telegram bot. Security researcher Alon Gal confirmed that the database has information of 533 million users obtained by exploiting a vulnerability that was patched in 2019.

If you want information for a single user’s phone number, It’s $20 per number. You can get it cheaper if you buy in bulk. Seller is offering 10,000 credits for $5,000.

The bot is offering access to data obtained in 2019. Users who didn’t change their phone numbers recently will be affected. Their data is up for sale on Telegram.

One can access a phone number by a person’s Facebook user ID. If you have a phone number, you can find their Facebook user ID.
