Today, Oppo launched Reno5 Pro 5G, the latest 5G smartphone in the Reno series, in India. The phone comes with impressive specs, ultra-fast charging, and 5G capability. The Oppo Reno 5 Pro 5G is the successor to the Oppo Reno 4 Pro launched last year.
OPPO Reno5 Pro 5G features a 6.5-inch Full HD+ 3D OLED HDR 10+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate and up to 1100 nit brightness. There’s a hole-punch at the top left corner for the selfie camera. It runs on Android 11 with ColorOS 11.1 out of the box.
The phone packs Octa-Core Dimensity 1000+ 7nm processor with Mali-G77 MC9 GPU and 8GB RAM. It also has 128GB of storage.

It has a quad-camera setup that includes a 64 MP primary camera with f/1.7 aperture, 8 megapixels 119° Ultra Wide camera, 2 megapixels macro camera, and 2 megapixels mono portrait camera. The phone also has 32 megapixels selfie camera. It has an industry-first Full Dimension Fusion(FDF) Portrait Video System that offers better video quality and portrait effects for an enhanced video experience.
Reno5 Pro 5G supports USB Type-C Audio. It also has an under-display fingerprint sensor. Other sensors include an accelerometer, ambient light, gyroscope, magnetometer, and a proximity sensor.
Connectivity options include 5G SA/ NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6 802.11 ax (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.1, GPS/GLONASS/Beidou, NFC, and USB Type-C. It packs a 4350mAh battery with support to 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 Flash Charge. The battery can be charged in just 30 minutes.
OPPO Reno5 Pro 5G is priced at Rs. 35990. Pre-orders start today and the phone will go on sale starting from January 22nd. It will be available from Flipkart and offline stores. The company has also announced a few launch offers for customers who purchase the phone within 3 days after it goes on sale.
