Nvidia has launched a new line of GeForce RTX 30-series GPUs for gaming laptops at CES 2021. We already know that over 70 laptop models will get these new GPUs and more than half of these models will also feature 240Hz screens or better.

These new Nvidia GPUs are RTX 3060, RTX 3070, and RTX 3080 and start at $999, $1299, and $1999, respectively.

Like the desktop models, these laptop GPUs are based on NVIDIA’s Ampere architecture. They feature second-generation RT cores for real-time ray tracing and 3rd-gen Tensor Cores. These GPUs are also include NVIDIA DLSS, NVIDIA Reflex, and NVIDIA Broadcast.

The GeForce RTX 3060 promises to offer 90fps in most recent games at 1080p using the highest quality settings. It is also said to be faster than GeForce RTX 2080 Super.

GeForce RTX 3070 aims to offer 1440p gaming at 90fps on Ultra settings. Laptops designed for esports could offer 240fps on high settings with better optimization. It claims to be 50 percent faster than RTX 2070.

GeForce RTX 3080 is for top-of-the-line gaming laptops and can offer 100+fps at ultra settings in most recent games.

Brands like Alienware, ASUS, Lenovo, Razer, and others have already announced their laptops powered by NVIDIA RTX 30 series mobile GPUs. These laptops will hit the market starting on January 26.
