HP Elite Folio with a 13.5-inch display, Snapdragon 8cx Gen 5 processor Announced

HP has announced its new ARM laptop HP Elite Folio at CES today. This is a 2-in-1 notebook aims to offer a tablet’s portability with the processing power of a laptop.

The laptop features a 13.5-inch display with HP Sure Vie Reflect privacy panel. The display also has Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.

HP Elite Folio is powered by Snapdragon 8cx Gen 5 processor and offers LTE and 5G connectivity through the X20 and X55 modems. It can be paired with up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.

HP’s new Elite Folio comes with two USB-C 3.2 ports and a headphone jack. The laptop also includes Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.0 and IR-enabled webcam. It can be charged over-the-counter USB Power Delivery charging bricks or by using HP’s proprietary fast charging technology.

HP is promising up to 24 hours of video playback for locally stored files.

Elite Folio will be available next month. Pricing will be confirmed locally at the time of availability.
