Carl Pei today announced his new venture ‘Nothing’. This is a London-based consumer technology company that will launch smart devices in the coming months. For now, Carl only announced the company name.

“Nothing’s mission is to remove barriers between people and technology to create a seamless digital future,” says Pei.

As per some previous reports, Pei’s new company could launch audio products such as headphones and smart speakers. Pei has already confirmed that the company will release products across multiple categories.

Last year in October, Pei left OnePlus and later confirmed his next venture. His company already received $7 million in funding from some notable names like Tony Fadell, Kevin Lin, Josh Buckley, Steve Huffman, and Casey Neistat. Recently, Cred CEO Kunal Shah also invested in CRED.

As per the official website, the company will release its first smart devices in the first half of this year.
