Xiaomi has launched Mi Reader Pro in China. It comes with an e-Ink display that is ideal for reading. This device is the successor to Mi Reader that was introduced last year.
Mi Reader Pro comes with a 7.8-inch (1872 x 1404 pixels) flat e-Ink display, The display has a 24-level adjustable 24-level adjustable front-lit LED reading light. You can also customize the color tone from cool to warm for an improved reading experience. It also has an anti-glare finish.
Mi Reader Pro is 7mm thick and weighs 251 grams. It packs a quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM, and 32GB of storage. So, it can store thousands of e-books.
The tablet runs on Android 8.1 (Oreo). Mi Reader Pro also supports voice search. It supports .epub, .txt, .pdf and Office documents. The device also supports Baidu cloud, WeChat Reading, and multi-view cloud one-click login and download.
The device packs a 3,200mAh battery and supports 10W charging. It also has an EPDC controller for smooth page turning and lower power consumption. It also has Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0.
Mi reader Pro comes in a single black color option. It is priced at CNY 1,099 and is now available for purchase through Xiaomi’s crowdfunding platform Youpin.
