As already promised, Xiaomi has announced its latest flagship smartphone Xiaomi Mi 11 at an event in China. This phone comes with exciting specs and boasts several interesting features.
The phone comes with a 6.81-inch E4 AMOLED quad curved DotDisplay with 120Hz refresh rate and 480Hz of touch sampling rate. The display also has a peak brightness of 1,500 nits. DisplayMate has also given this display A+ rating. There’s a hole-punch at the top left side for the selfie camera. It also has Corning Gorilla Glass Victus for better scratch and drop resistance.
Mi 11 packs Snapdragon 888 5nm Soc for high-end performance. It also has VC LiquidCool Technology to keep the device cool even during intensive use. The phone comes in three different models that include 12GB RAM with 128GB storage, 12GB RAM with 256GB storage, and 12 GB RAM with 256GB storage. There are 3200MHz LPPDDR5 RAM AND UFS 3.1 storage in the phone for uncompromised performance.
Mi 11 will come with latest MIUI 12.5 that has several privacy and security upgrades, system optimizations and various other new features.
There’s an In-screen fingerprint sensor that can also be used for heart rate monitoring. It also has an Infrared sensor.
Mi 11 comes with a triple rear camera that includes 108 megapixels primary camera with a Samsung sensor, OIS, 13 megapixels 123° ultra-wide-angle camera, and 5 megapixels telemacro camera. This camera can record 8k at 30fps, 4k 60fps, and 960fps at 720p. There is also a 20 megapixels selfie camera.
The phone has Dual speakers used by Harman Kardon and supports Hi-Res audio. It lacks headphone jack and uses USB Type-C audio.
Connectivity options include 5G SA/NSA Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6E 802.11 ax 8 x / MU-MIMO, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS (L1 + L5), NFC, and USB Type-C. Mi 11 Packs 4600 mAh battery with support to 55W wired QC4+ / QC3+ / PD3.0 fast charging, 50W wireless fast charging and 10w wireless reverse charging.
Mi 11 comes in Midnight Gray, Horizon Blue, and Frost White colors. It has a glass body and comes with an Anti-glare frosted glass back. There’s also a variant with a Vegan leather finish on the back. Glass body variant is 8.06mm thick and weighs 196g. The leather back variant weighs 194g but is 8.56mm thick.
