Spotify India has launched two short term subscription plans to attract new premium customers. Now Indian consumers can subscribe to daily or weekly premium subscription plans.
Spotify’s daily subscription plan costs Rs. 7 per day and the weekly subscription plan is priced at Rs, 25 per week. Existing monthly and yearly plans will continue to exist.
Premium subscription plans offer additional features like an advertisements-free experience, offline streaming, and more. The only issue is that you can only download 30 songs on a mobile phone.
Premium plans also offer 320kbps kbps streaming while regular accounts can offer just 160kbps.
To subscribe to any of the subscription plans, you can either visit the Spotify website or app. Newly launched subscriptions plan will be there under the Premium Mini option. You can also select from different payment modes such as UPI or debit and credit cards.
