Redmi India, a sub-brand of Mi India, has launched Redmi 9 Power in India. The phone comes with a 6.53-inch Display, Snapdragon 662, 48MP quad-camera setup, and a 6,000mAh battery. It starts at Rs. 10999.

Redmi 9 Power features a 6.53-inch Full HD+ LCD display. The display has a water drop notch and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The phone runs on MIUI 12 based on Android 10 out of the box.

It packs Octa-Core Snapdragon 662 Soc with Adreno 610 GPU. The phone comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB or 128GB storage. Storage is also expandable up to 512GB with microSD.

Redmi 9 Power has a quad-camera setup that includes 48 megapixels primary camera with f/1.79 aperture, 8 megapixels 118° ultra-wide camera, 2 megapixels depth camera, and 2 megapixels macro camera. The phone also has 8 megapixels selfie camera.

There’s a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. Like other Redmi phones, it also has an IR sensor. Redmi 9 Power has a P2i coating for making it Splash resistant. The phone measures 162.3×77.3×9.6mm and weighs 198g. It comes in Mighty Black, Fiery Red, Electric Green, and Blazing Blue colors.

Connectivity options include Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS, and USB Type-C. It packs 6000mAh battery with 18W fast charging.

The base variant of Redmi 9 Power with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage is priced at Rs. 10,999. The variant with 4GB RAM and 128GB Storage costs Rs. 11,999.

The phone will be available across Mi.com, Amazon India, Mi Homes, and Mi Studios starting 22 December 2020.
