Lava Mobiles has started teasing the launch of a new smartphone in India. The company has posted on different social media platforms confirming the launch date.
Lava Mobile will be holding an online launch event on January 7. The post reads, “The day when Smartphone industry will never be the same again.”
As per other reports, the company is planning to launch 4 different smartphones priced in the range of Rs. 5,000 to Rs. 20,000. It will be interesting to see if new smartphones by Lava could compete well against Chinese rivals who are ruling India’s smartphone market.
Like Micromax, Lava Mobiles will also boost to be the part of the government’s Atmanirbhar Bharat initiative. Unlike Micromax, Lava was actively launching budget phones. It recently launched Be U smartphone and Lava Z61 Pro smartphone back in July.
