Xiaomi’s Note 9 series wasn’t available in China until now. The company has finally launched the Note 9 series in China with three new smartphones Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G, Redmi Note 9 5G, and Redmi Note 9 4G. As the name suggests Note 9 Pro 5G and Note 9 5G are 5G phones.

Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G comes with a 6.67-inch Full HD+ LCD display with a 120Hz 6-stop variable refresh rate. The display also has a 240Hz touch sampling rate. There’s Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection to protect the display. It packs Snapdragon 750G 8nm Soc with Adreno 619 GPU.

Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G

It has 6GB / 8GB RAM with 128GB storage and 8GB RAM with 256GB storage. Storage is also expandable up to 512GB. The phone has a Hybrid Dual SIM slot where the secondary sim slot acts as a microSD SD card slot.

The phone has a Quad camera with 108 megapixels primary camera, 8 megapixels secondary 120° ultra-wide camera, 2 megapixels depth camera and 2 megapixels macro camera. It also has 16 megapixels selfie camera.

Note 9 Pro 5G has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, Stereo speakers, and IR sensor. The phone is also Splash resistant due to P2i coating. It offers 5G SA/ NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, NFC, and USB Type-C connectivity. The phone also has a 4820 mAh battery with 33W fast charging.

Redmi Note 9 5G has a 6.53-inch Full HD+ LCD display with Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It packs an Octa-Core Dimensity 800U processor. It comes with 6GB / 8GB RAM with 128GB storage and 8GB RAM with 256GB storage. Storage is also expandable up to 512GB. This phone has a dedicated microSD card slot.

It has a triple camera with 48 megapixels primary camera, 8 megapixels 118° ultra-wide camera, and 2 megapixels macro camera. It has 13 megapixels selfie camera.

This phone also has side-mounted fingerprint sensor, IR sensor and Stereo speakers. It also has P2i coating that makes phone Splash resistant.

It also supports 5G SA/ NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5, GPS/GLONASS/Beidou, and USB Type-C connectivity. The phone packs a 5000mAh battery with 18W fast charging.

Redmi Note 9 4G features a 6.53-inch Full HD+ LCD Display with Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It packs an Octa-Core Snapdragon 662 Soc with Adreno 610 GPU. The phone comes with 4GB / 6GB / 8GB RAM with 128GB storage and 8GB RAM with 256GB storage. This phone also lets you expand storage up to 512GB with a microSD card.

Redmi Note 9 4G

There’s a triple camera with 48 megapixels primary camera, 8 megapixels 118° ultra-wide camera, and 2 megapixels depth camera. It also has an 8 megapixels selfie camera. The fingerprint sensor is located on the side. This phone also has Stereo speakers and an IR sensor.

Connectivity options include Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS, and USB Type-C. It packs 6000mAh battery with 18W fast charging.

Redmi Note 9 4G starts at 999 yuan, Redmi Note 9 5G starts at 1299 yuan and Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G starts at 1599 yuan. Redmi Note 9 4G is already on sale in China. Redmi Note 9 5G and Pro 5G will go on sale from December 1 in China.

Redmi Note 9 series was already launched in India with different specs. So, these phones could be launched in India with different names or under Poco branding.
