OnePlus has announced that the company is installing charging stations with Warp Charge 30 fast charging support at Indian airports. Bangalore Airport is the first one to get the fast charging station. Delhi AirPort will get it soon.
OnePlus 8, OnePlus 7, and OnePlus Nord series of phone users will get notifications every time they are near a charging station at an airport. OnePlus 6 series is slated to get the feature soon. Notification will also tell you the distance to the charging station and let you track it.
“With the help of beacons integrated into the charging stations, your OnePlus device identifies charging stations nearby. You can mute them anytime if you’re stuck in the long halts at the airports,: OnePlus said about the charging stations in its blog.
The charging stations will support Warp Charge 30. You just need to insert your OnePlus red cables into USB ports to charge your phone. There will also be traditional three-pin plug points for those who prefer charging with it.
As of now, we have information about Kempegowda International Airport in Bengaluru, and Indira Gandhi International Airport in New Delhi. The company will surely expand it to other airports across India.
