Chinese smartphone brand OnePlus has announced an ‘Education Benefits program’ in India to offer discounts to students and teachers. Under this program, students and teachers can avail of Rs. 1000 off on all OnePlus smartphones and 5% off on all accessories.

OnePlus claims that the program covers 760 universities and 38,498 colleges across India. Students or teachers will have to verify their status through the Student Beans account for availing of this offer. OnePlus has partnered with Student Beans for this program.

You will have to finish the verification process conducted by Student Beans. Once done, you will remove the new coupon voucher in your OnePlus account. You can then use this discount voucher during the checkout process.

The voucher is valid for one calendar year and is bound to the OnePlus account. That means you can buy Only one OnePlus product in a year. So, it cannot be transferred or exchanged. As long as you are in college, you can re-verify your status once a year and avail the benefit.

OnePlus recently launched the OnePlus 8T and also launched OnePlus Nord a few months back. OnePlus Nord was liked by consumers for being one of the cheapest 5G phones in India.
