Ghost of Tsushima has now become the fastest-selling PlayStation 4 Original Game. This Kurosawa-inspired open-world samurai game was released on PlayStation 4 back in July and has now sold over 5 million copies.

If we compare it with previous record holders, Guerilla Games’ Horizon: Zero Dawn managed to sell approximately 3.4 million copies in the same 4 months time period. There have been several fastest-selling non-original PS4 exclusives, but here we are only asking about original PS4 exclusive.
Marvel’s Spider-Man sold 3.3 million units in the first three days alone and The Last of Us Part II sold over 4 million copies in the first three days. But these are not considered an original title.
