Tinder Face to Face

Tinder, one of the most popular dating apps, is now rolling out its in-app video chat feature Face to Face globally. This feature lets users have a video chat with their Tinder matches.

Tinder understands that there are creepy people out there. So, the feature has been developed by its Trust and Safety team. So, the feature is safe to use and won’t ruin dating experience.

The video call will only be possible if both parties opted the feature. You have to manually opt into the feature with the person you have already matched. You will be able to make video calls only if the other person also does the same.

To opt-in for the feature, navigate to the match section and open the conversation for a match. Then you will see a video call icon on the top right corner. Tao on it and then slide the toggle to unlock the Face to Face feature. If your match also does the same, Face to Face video call will be available.

You can always unmatch a person if you are not comfortable in further communication. If your match try to harass you, don’t forget to report the profile.

This feature was announced earlier this year after the company saw increased interest in virtual meets. The feature was intially available only in select market. After getting feedback from a small bunch of users, now the company is rolling out the feature globally.
