Samsung announced Galaxy A42 5G a few days back,. Now it has detailed the specifications and prices. This is an affordable 5G phone to compete4 against OnePlus Nord and Pixel 4A.

Samsung Galaxy A42 5G comes with a 6.6 HD+ sAMOLED Infinity-U display. It packs Snapdragon 750G with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage. Storage is also expandable up to 1TB. The phone runs on One UI 2 based on Android 10.

The phone has a quad-camera that includes 48 megapixels primary camera, 8 megapixels ultra-wide camera, 5 megapixels depth camera and 5 megapixels macro camera. It also has 20 megapixels selfie camera.

The phone has on-screen fingerprint sensor. Connectivity options include 5G, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5, and USB Type-C. It packs 5,000mAh battery with 15W charging support.

Dimensions measure 164.3 x 75.8 x 8.6mm and it weighs 193g. It comes in Prism Dot Black, Prism Dot White, and Prism Dot Gray colors.

The Samsung Galaxy A42 5G is priced at £349 in the UK but €369 in Germany and other European markets. It will be available from November 6 in the UK.
