Redmi has announced a new smartphone Redmi K30S smartphone in China. This phone will sit along with Redmi K30, Redmi K30 Pro, and Redmi K30 Ultra. Redmi K30S comes with a 144Hz display, Snapdragon 865, Triple camera, and 5000mAh battery.
Redmi K30S features a 6.67-inch Full HD+ LCD screen with a 144Hz refresh rate. It also has an Adaptive sync variable refresh rate to switch between 144Hz, 120Hz, 90Hz, 60Hz, 50Hz, 48Hz, and 30Hz. The display is rated to offer 650 nits max brightness and is also HDR10 rated. There’s also a Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The phone runs on MIUI 12 based on Android 10.
It packs an Octa-Core Snapdragon 865 7nm processor with Adreno 650 GPU. There’s also an 8GB LPPDDR5 RAM with 128GB or 256GB storage.
The phone comes with a triple camera that includes 64 megapixels rear camera with IMX682 sensor, 13 megapixels 123° ultra-wide-angle camera, and 5 megapixels macro camera. This phone can also record 8K videos. It also features a 20-megapixel selfie camera.
Redmi K30S features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. It also has Stereo speakers and supports USB Type-C audio.
Connectivity options includes 5G SA/NSA Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6 802.11 ax (2.4GHz + 5GHz) 4×4 MIMO, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS (L1 + L5), NFC, and USB Type-C. It packs 5000 mAh battery with 33W fast charging.
The base model with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage is priced at 2599 yuan. The model with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage costs 2799 yuan. It will go on sale in China from November 1st.
