A few days back, Apple released the iPhone 12 series that includes iPhone 12 Mini, iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro, and iPhone 12 Pro Max. It has received a mixed reaction from reviewers and consumers are excited as always.
Apple never reveals battery capacity while launching the phone. So, we always have to wait for teardown videos to know the exact hardware specs. Now a report has confirmed the battery capacities of all new iPhone models, but it doesn’t seem good.
The information has come from filings to ANATEL. It notes that iPhone 12 mini has a 2,227 mAh battery and iPhone 12 has a 2,815 mAh battery capacity. Here’s it is worth noting that iPhone 11 packs a 3,110 mAh battery. We still do not know the battery capacities of the iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max.
Apple claims that iPhone 12 is rated to offer 17 hours of video playback and 65 hours of audio playback. This is the same it claims for iPhone 11 even with a smaller battery.
All the new iPhone 12 models pack A14 Bionic chipset offering better energy efficiency over the A13 Bionic found in iPhone 11 series.
We still do not know many things about the iPhone 12 models. We should know more about these phones once the iPhone 12 series is available.
