AMD unveils ‘Big Navi’ Radeon RX 6000 series GPUs

AMD today unveiled the Radeon RX 6000 series that includes Radeon RX 6900 XT, Radeon RX 6800 XT, and RX 6800 graphics cards.

RX 6900 XT is the most powerful graphics card launched today. All these Big Navi graphics cards are based on RDNA 2 architecture. This architecture can deliver double the performance at 4K and brings a 54 percent increase in performance per watt over RDNA architecture.

AMD claims that the RX 6900 XT can offer up to two times higher performance in select titles compared to Radeon RX 5700 XT graphics card. RX 6800 XT can offer 54 percent higher performance-per-watt as compared to RX 5700 XT graphics card.

These cards support PCIe 4.0 technology and will be available with up to 16GB of GDDR6 memory.

Radeon RX 6800 XT and Radeon RX 6800 are priced at $649 and $579. These graphics cards will be available starting on 19th November. Radeon RX 6900 XT will be available starting 8th December at $999.
