Samsung Galaxy S20 FE With 6.5″ 120Hz Display, Triple Rear Cameras announced
Samsung has now unveiled a slightly low-end variant of Galaxy S20 dubbed as Samsung Galaxy S20 FE. Here the FE stands for “Fan Edition.” Samsung has only removed some of the expensive parts while keeping the key features.
Samsung Galaxy S20 FE features a 6.5-inch full-HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-O Display with 120Hz refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It has a 407ppi pixel density and a 20:9 aspect ratio.
The phone has a 4G model that packs octa-core Exynos 990 SoC while the 5G model packs octa-core Snapdragon 865 SoC. Both the models pack 8GB RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
It has a triple camera that includes 12 megapixels primary sensor with OIS, 12 megapixels 123-degree ultra-wide-angle shooter, and 8 megapixels telephoto camera. It also has 32 megapixels autofocus selfie camera.
The phone has both 4G and 5G models. Other connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, and a USB Type-C. It has an optical in-display fingerprint sensor. There are stereo speakers tuned by AKG.
Galaxy S20 FE is IP68-rated to offer water and dust resistance. It measures 159.8×74.5×8.4mm and weighs 190 grams. There will be six color options – Cloud Red, Cloud Orange, Cloud Lavender, Cloud Mint, Cloud Navy, and Cloud White The phone has polycarbonate build instead of glass.
The phone packs 4,500mAh battery with support to 15W fast charging and wireless charging.
The 5G model is priced at $699 and the company didn’t confirm the pricing of 4G mode;
