Xiaomi just launched another budget phone Redmi 9 series in India. The new phone is Redmi 9i. The phone starts at Rs. 8299 and will be available starting from September 18th.

Redmi 9i features a 6.53-inch HD+ 20:9 IPS LCD Dot Drop screen and runs on MIUI based on Android 10. The phone will also soon get MIUI 12. It packs 2GHz Octa Core MediaTek Helio G25 processor with IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU. There is 4GB LPDDR4x RAM. It will be available in 64GB and 128GB storage options. Storage is also expandable up to 512GB.

The phone has 13 megapixels rear camera and 5 megapixels selfie camera.

Phone has Aura 360 design with grip-friendly texture. It comes in Midnight Black, Sea Blue and Nature Green colours. It weighs 194g. The phone is also Splash proof.

Connectivity options include Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS, and micro USB. It packs 4000 mAh battery with 10W charging support.

The 64GB variant is priced at Rs. 8299 while the 128GB variant will be available at Rs. 9299. The phone wi be sold from Flipkart, mi.com and offline stores starting from September 18th 12PM.
