Qualcomm has announced a new processor Snapdragon 750G in its 7-series Snapdragon processor. Snapdragon 750G comes with an integrated X52 5G modem and promises improved performance. Snapdragon 750G is the successor of Snapdragon 730G.
Snapdragon 750G has an updated Kryo 570 CPU and a new Adreno 619 GPU. SD 750G is manufactured using 8nm FinFET. It has 2x Cortex-A77 cores clocked at 2.2Ghz and 6x Cortex-A55 clocked at 1.8GHz. It boasts 20 percent performance improvement and 10 percent better graphics rendering performance. It also includes the company’s fifth-generation AI engine that is 20 percent better. It also brings AI-based echo cancellation and background noise suppression.
The Soc supports 120 Hz on-device display with HDR10+. Qualcomm promises that the Soc will offer true HDR gaming. Adreno HDR Fast Blend will offer up to 2x better performance in complex rendering. It also supports Bluetooth 5.1 with aptX Adaptive Audio.
