As already promised, Xiaomi has launched its new Mi TV 4A Horizon Edition series of smart TVs in India. The series offers two models 32-inch HD and 43-inch Full HD. The 32-inch HD model is priced at Rs. 13,499 and the 43-inch FHD model is priced at Rs. 22,999.
Both the smart TV models feature immersive Horizon display with minimal bezels. Xiaomi claims that the Vivid Picture Engine, software, and hardware tweaks added to the smart TVs ensure accurate screen calibration and perfect color reproduction.
These smart TVs run on Patch Wall, a UI layer on top of the Android TV OS. The company has also included deep learning AI technology that curates content based on recommendations from 23+ content partners across 16+ languages.
If I talk about hardware, these TVs pack a 1.5GHz quad-core Amlogic Cortex-A53 processor, 750MHz Mali-450 MP3 GPU, 1GB DDR4 dual-channel RAM, and 8GB internal memory. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n (2.4 GHz), Bluetooth 4.2, 3 x HDMI (1 contain ARC), AV, USB 2.0 x 2, Ethernet, and S/PDIF port. Both the models have 2 10W speakers and DTS-HD audio.
