Compaq Smart TVs Launched in India Starting at Rs. 59,999

As already confirmed, Compaq has launched a range of QLED TVs in India. The 55-inch model costs Rs. 59,999 and the 65-inch model is priced at Rs. Rs. 89,999. Both TVs feature Ultra-HD QLED screen and run on Android TV OS.

The 4K display panel is also HDR 10 rated for Vibrant visuals and realistic colours. Suprisingly there is no support for Dolby Vision HDR.

Both the models run on Android TV our of the box and comes with Google Play. So, you can install more apps and games to enjoy on the TV. It also has Google Assistant & Chromecast in-built

Both the smart TV models pack 24W speaker and are integrated with Mimi Sound Personalisation. It also supports Dolby Audio and DTS TruSurround Technology. So, you get a good audio experience.

The TVs have 2.5GB of RAM and 16GB of storage. Connectivity options include WiFi, four HDMI ports, and three USB ports.

The televisions go on sale on Flipkart from September 1 onwards.

Compaq is known for its laptops. For launching smart TVs, they have partnered with Noida-based electronics manufacturer Ossify Industries. Ossify has recently acquired a manufacturing plant in Haryana and confirmed its plans to manufacture Compaq televisions in India
