Telecom giant Bharti Airtel has picked up a strategic stake in Waybeo under its start-up accelerator programme. The company did not divulge into the financial details of the deal. Waybeo is the fifth startup to join Airtel Startup Accelerator Program.
Waybeo is a Trivandrum based startup offering deep Al-based analytics for cloud telephony. India’s cloud services market is expected to reach US$7.1 billion by 2024. So, This is a wise move from Airtel to get an early pie of the market.

We are thrilled to onboard Waybeo to our Startup Accelerator program and provide them a platform to scale up their technologies as part of Airtel’s world-class cloud services ecosystem.”
Waybeo incubated in 2009 in Technopark Thiruvananthapuram and launched its first product back in 2012. The company was founded by 6 friends who thought about an idea to connect business with potential customers. Their software works on AI-powered call tracking for sales and marketing.
On its official website, the company claims to have some big names such as Ford, Royal Enfield, and HP on its client’s list.
