Apple has announced that it is launching its online store in India on September 23. Now customers can purchase different Apple products directly from Apple using the official online store. Until now, Apple products were available in India entirely through partners like Apple Premium Resellers.
Starting September 23, Indian consumers can visit apple.com/in and shop directly from Apple. Here, a full range of Apple products and support will be available. Customers will also get advice and guidance from Apple Support people in English and Hindi languages. For example, if you are facing issues in activating your Mac, you can ask for help.
Apple SVP of Retail + People Deirdre O’Brien noted the expansion, “We’re proud to be expanding in India and want to do all we can to support our customers and their communities. We know our users are relying on technology to stay connected, engage in learning, and tap into their creativity, and by bringing the Apple Store online to India, we are offering our customers the very best of Apple at this important time.”
Apple has also promised that consumers will get financing options, trade-in programs, and a range of affordability options. Students discount will also be available, so Students can purchase Apple products on special pricing.
Apple has been operating in India for more than 20 years and took a long time in getting the sales in its own hands. Now when Apple products are quite popular in India, the company is investing heavily in the market. Apple has already started manufacturing several iPhone models in the country. Physical Apple Stores in India will also arrive in 2021 and the first one is expected to open in Mumbai’s Bandra Kurla Complex.
