Apple confirms a virtual event scheduled for September 15; could launch iPhone 12 and Watch Series 6

Apple just confirmed a virtual launch event scheduled for September 15th. The company has sent out invites to the press confirming the virtual event. Invite reads “Time Flies” confirming the new Apple Watch.

Apple is expected to launch the iPhone 12 series, Watch Series 6, and possibly new iPad models and some accessories. Apple could also confirm the rollout details of iOS 13, macOS 11, watchOS 7, and tvOS 14.

Apple is expected to launch four new iPhone models featuring an OLED display and 5G support. Watch Series 6 is rumored to include a faster processor, blood oxygen monitoring, and improved sleep tracking. Along with Watch Series 6, Apple is also expected to release a cheaper smartwatch featuring an edge-to-edge display.

The Apple event will begin at 10AM PDT (10:30 IST) on September 15th. It will be streamed directly from Apple Park via apple.com.
