Amazon will bring Amitabh Bachchan’s voice to Alexa next year

Amazon has announced its partnership with 77-year-old Bollywood star Amitabh Bachchan to bring his voice to Amazon’s digital assistant. Users will get jokes, weather, advice, shayaris, motivational quotes, and more in Bachchan’s voice.

Amitabh Bachchan will become the first Indian celebrity to lend his voice to Alexa. He joins Samuel L. Jackson who became the first ever celebrity voice of Alexa last year in September.

Alexa team now start working with Bachchan to capture his voice. So, it will take some time to bing his voice on the platform. It is set to launch in 2021 as a paid experience.

If you already own an Alexa device, you can get a taste of his vote by saying, “Alexa, Say Hello to Mr Amitabh Bachchan”.

Amitabh Bachchan’s voice will be available on all the platforms Alexa works. This includes Echo devices, Fire TV stick, Alexa app, Amazon shopping app (Android) and other Alexa-enabled devices
