Xiaomi just unveiled a 55-inch Transparent TV

Along with Mi 10 Ultra and Redmi K30 Ultra, Xiaomi also introduced a 55-inch transparent smart TV at its 10th-anniversary event. This 55-inch smart TV is called Mi TV LUX OLED Transparent Edition. When the TV is turned off, it looks like a piece of glass.

Mi TV Lux OLED Transparent Edition features a 55-inch transparent OLED panel with 1.07 billion color combinations, 120Hz refresh rate and 1ms fast response time for gaming. There’s a MediaTek 9650 custom-made TV chip along with AI Master Smart Engine. It has Dolby Atmos and AI Master for Audio for improved audio performance.

This TV also features a Professional game mode and supports variable refresh rate to avoid picture delays, tears, and freezes. It runs on a custom-made MIUI for TV. There’s also the support for Always-On display.

Connectivity options include WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz / 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.0, 3 x HDMI 2.1 (including HDMI eARC), 2 x USB, S/PDIF and Ethernet.

It is priced at 49999 yuan (US$ 7196) and will go on sale in China starting from August 16.
