Uber has launched an on-demand 24×7 Auto Rentals service in India. The service lets people book an auto and its driver for several hours. One can take multiple stops along the journey and driver.

Prices start at Rs 169 for a one-hour/ten km package. there are multiple hourly packages. One can book an Auto for up to 8 hours. The service is now live in Bengaluru and is available in Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Chennai, and Pune.

Commenting on the new service, Nitish Bhushan, Head of Marketplace & Categories, Uber India and South Asia, said,”This is an India-first innovation and a prime example of how we leverage technology to benefit both riders and drivers.”

Uber claims that Auto Rentals service will offer personalized experience and flexibility in several situations where a person needs to visit several places in a few hours.

The company claims that it has also launched a set of safety measures like Go Online Checklist, a mandatory mask policy for both riders and drivers, pre-trip mask verification selfies for drivers, and updated cancellation policy.
