Qualcomm unveils Snapdragon 732G

Qualcomm has announced a new Soc Snapdragon 732G. This Soc is the successor to Snapdragon 730G SoC and boasts superior gaming experience on mid-range phones.

Snapdragon 732G two major improvements over the Snapdragon 730G. The clock speed of the prime core is now 2.3GHz as compared to 2.2Ghz in 730G. Adreno 618 GPU is now 15% better. It features 1 Kryo 470 “Prime” core clocked at up to 2.3GHz, 1 Kryo 470 “Performance” core clocked at up to 2.2GHz, and 6 Kryo 470 “Efficiency” cores clocked at 1.8GHz. The SoC is fabricated on Samsung’s 8nm LPP process.

Snapdragon 732G comes with several Snapdragon Elite Gaming features including Qualcomm Game Jank Reducer, Vulkan 1.1 Graphics Driver, True HDR, and anti-cheat extensions.

This new SoC comes with Snapdragon X15 LTE Modem promising up to 800 Mbps link speed.

The Soc supports QHD+ on-device display and UHD External Display Support. It also supports HDR displays and features Low Power Picture Enhancement.

Snapdragon 732G

Poco will be the first phone to bring this Soc in the market, but we don’t know the name of the device.
