Oppo has launched its latest smartphone Oppo A53 2020 to compete against Nokia, Realme, Samsung, and Xiaomi. Oppo A53 2020 starts at Rs. 12999.

Oppo A53 2020 features a 6.5-inch HD+ (720×1,600 pixels) display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The display also has a 20:9 aspect ratio. It has a hole-punch for the selfie camera. The phone runs on ColorOS 7.2 based on Android 10. The phone packs octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 460 SoC with up to 6GB RAM and up to 128GB storage. Storage is also expandable up to 256GB.

It has triple camera that includes 13 megapixels primary camera, 2 megapixels depth camera and 2 megapixels macro camera. It also has 16 megapixels selfie camera.

Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, and USB Type-C. It has a fingerprint sensor at the back of the handset. The phone packs a 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging.

The phone features a gradient back. It will be available in Electric Black, Fairy White, and Fancy Blue color options.

  • 6GB RAM + 128GB storage: Rs. 15490

The phone will be sold through Flipkart initially. Customers can also avail five percent cash back on select bank transactions, no-cost EMI options for up to six months, and zero down-payment finance scheme.
