There have been a few rumours about an entry-level OnePlus smartphone. After the Nord, OnePlus is planning to launch a device in the affordable segment. The model is reportedly codenamed “Clover”. This phone could fall in the $200 segment.

As per rumors, the phone could feature 6.52-inch 720p (1560 x 720) IPS LCD display, Snapdragon 460 Spc, 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of storage with a MicroSD slot. There could be a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, 13+3+2MP camera setup, and 6000 mAh battery with 18W fast charging.

The Snapdragon 460 was launched earlier this year and packs Cortex A73 cores to deliver better performance over the Snapdragon 450. It also includes Adreno 610 GPU.

OnePlus has made its name by offering premium devices at an aggressive price range. With time, the prices of OnePlus flagship went up and now the brand isn’t the reach of many consumers. So, it launched OnePlus Nord recently and saw a huge response. That’s the reason the company is now looking to jump in the affordable segment.

With OnePlus Clover, the company is planning to take on Xiaomi and Realme. OnePlus will launch this budget phone in several global markets including India and the US. We still do not have much information and should know more in the coming weeks. So, stay tuned.
