HMD Global just launched the Nokia 5.3 in India starting at Rs. 13999. This phone will compete against recently launched Redmi Note 9.

Nokia 5.3 features a 6.55-inch HD+ 20:9 2.5D curved glass display and runs on latest Android 10. It packs Octa Core Snapdragon 665 Soc with Adreno 610 GPU. It comes with 4GB or 6GB RAM and 64GB storage with an option to expand storage up to 512GB.

The phone has tough polymer 3D frame with scratch-resistant coating and sculpted back made of advanced composite materials and inner nano texture. It has waterdrop notch for the selfie camera. Fingerprint sensor is located on the back and it also has a dedicated Google Assistant button.

Rear camera setup includes 13 megapixels primary camera, 5 megapixels wide angle camera, 2 megapixels depth camera and 2 megapixels macro camera. It also has an 8 megapixels selfie camera.

Connectivity options include Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 4.2, GPS + GLONASS, and USB Type-C. It packs 4000mAh battery with support to 10W charging.

This phone will be available for pre-booking on Nokia.com/phones and amazon.in starting today. It will be available starting September 1.

Jio Subscribers will get benefits worth INR 4,000 on Rs. 349 plan. Offer is applicable for new as well as existing Jio subscribers.
