WhatsApp has announced several new features to make user experience better. We already know about a few of them because they made appearance on beta. These features include animated stickers, add contact using QR code, dark mode for desktop and web.
Most notable new feature is animated stickers. Stickers are similar to what we already have but only with simple animations.
Now you can also add contacts via QR code. Simply scan the QR code, so you don’t have to enter the full phone number to add.
WhatsApp for web and Whatsapp for desktop are also getting a dark mode. WhatsApp for KaiOS is also getting the Status feature.
Group video call feature is also getting an up to allow you to quickly maximize the video feed of anyone on the call.
