Vivo X50 and X50 Pro launched in India starting at Rs. 34990

Vivo X50 Series

As promised, Vivo India has just launched two smartphones Vivo X50 and Vivo X50 Pro in India. These phones start at Rs. 34990 and will be available starting from July 24th.

Both the phones look similar and offer the same screen size but differ in internals, primarily in the camera. Vivo X50 and X50 Pro have a 6.56-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. Here, the only difference is that the X50 Pro features 3D curved glass. Both the phones have an in-display fingerprint scanner and a punch-hole for the selfie camera.

Vivo X50

Vivo X50 features an Octa-Core Snapdragon 730 processor with Adreno 618 GPU while the X50 Pro has a more powerful Snapdragon 765G Soc with Adreno 620 GPU GPU. RAM and storage is the same and both the phone packs 8GB RAM with 128GB or 256GB storage options.

If I talk about the camera, Vivo X50 comes with a Quad-camera setup that includes 48 megapixels primary rear camera with f/1.6 aperture, Sony IMX598 sensor, four-axis OIS along with 8 megapixels 120° ultra-wide camera, 13 megapixels portrait bokeh camera and 5 megapixels macro camera with 2x optical zoom and 20x digital zoom.

Vivo X50 Pro also comes with a quad-camera with improved setup. It includes 48 megapixels primary camera with Sony IMX598 sensor, f/1.6 aperture along with 8 megapixels 120° ultra-wide camera that can also capture 2.5cm macro, 8 megapixels periscope camera for 5x optical, 10x hybrid & 60x digital zoom and 13 megapixels portrait camera with f/2.46 aperture.

Vivo X50 Pro

Both the phones have the same 32 megapixels selfie camera.

X50 and X50 Pro both support USB Type-C Audio and Hi-Res audio, but X50 Pro comes with AK4377A amp for improved sound.

Connectivity options include Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.1, GPS/GLONASS/Beidou, NFC and USB Type-C. X50 Pro also supports 5G. Vivo X50 packs 4200 mAh battery while the X50 pro has a 4315mAh battery. Both the phones support 33W fast charging.

Vivo X50 costs Rs. 34,990 for 128GB storage version and Rs. 37,990 for 256 GB storage model. Vivo X50 Pro is priced at Rs. 49,990.
