Telegram users could already send up to 1.5GB of files on the messaging app. Now the app has increased this limit to 2GB. This means you can share files of up to 2GB file size on Telegram conversations.

Telegram app is also getting Profile Videos feature. So, you can now add a short profile video in place of a profile photo. The video will be played when someone checks your profile. specific frame from the video to be displayed in chats.
Other notable new features include Soften Skin option in the media editor, Improved People Nearby feature, Mini-thumbnails in chats, and option to filter chats from Contacts. The owner of large groups can also check group stats to learn about the activity and growth.
