As it has promised, Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi has launched Redmi Note 9 smartphone in India. The phone starts at Rs. Rs. 11,999 and will be available starting July 24.

Redmi Note 9 features a 6.53-inch Full HD+ display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The phone runs on Android 10 with MIUI 11. It packs Octa Core MediaTek Helio G85 12nm processor with 1000MHz ARM Mali-G52 2EEMC2 GPU. It comes in three different models offering 4GB RAM with 64GB storage, 4GB RAM with 128GB storage and 6GB RAM with 128GB storage.

The phone features a Quad rear camera that includes 48 megapixels primary camera with Samsung GM1 sensor, 8 megapixels 118° ultra-wide angle camera, 2 megapixels macro camera and 2 megapixels depth camera. It also includes a 13 megapixels selfie camera.

Redmi Note 9 has P2i coating for offering Splash resistant built. It has rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and an IR sensor. The phone measures 162.38×77.2×8.95mm and weighs 199g.

It has Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS, and USB Type-C connectivity. The phone packs 5020mAh battery with 22.5W in-box charger and 9w reverse charging.
