ZTE’s sub-brand Nubia also announced its latest flagship smartphone RedMagic 5S in China. The phone comes with powerful specs at aggressive pricing.
Nubia RedMagic 5S features Full HD+ 19.5:9 AMOLED display with 144Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling rate. The company also claims the follow-up response time of 14.9ms, a sliding response time of 45ms, and a click response time of 32.2ms.
The phone is powered by a 2.84GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 865 7nm Mobile Platform with Adreno 650 GPU. It features an upgraded multi-dimensional cooling system ICE 4.0, and high-efficiency centrifugal fan with a speed of up to 15,000 rpm + transparent air duct design along with 10 intelligent temperature sensors, and L-shaped liquid cooling tube. This results in a better cooling.
The phone also offers 4D intelligent vibration and sports a dual IC game Shoulder Trigger Buttons.
It has a 64MP triple camera that includes 64 megapixels primary Sony IMX686 camera, 8 megapixels 120-degree ultra-wide camera, and 2 megapixels macro camera. There’s also an 8 megapixels selfie camera.
Connectivity options include 5G NSA /SA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6 802.11 ax (2.4GHz + 5GHz + 5.8GHz), Bluetooth 5.1, GPS + GLONASS, and USB Type-C. It packs 4500mAh battery with 55W fast charging.
The phone weighs 220g and measures 168.56×78×9.75mm. It comes in Sonic Silver and Pulse colors.
