You may have seen smart water taps where you just need to take your hands close to it and it starts pushing water. Now due to COVID-19 pandemic, it is really important to have non contact water taps, especially at public places.
Marill has introduced a Non Contact Automatic Tap Sensor that can be added to existing water tap to make it smart one. The device has infrared sensing for motion detection. As soon as it detects motion around, it starts water flow. You don’t need to open the tap manually or touch anything.
It comes with 6 sets of adapters. So, you can easily attach it to most of the water taps without much effort.
There are basically two sensor areas. One is the bottom sensor that can be used for face and washing to meet short-term water demand. Water will stop automatically after 20 seconds of water discharge. The side sensor area can be used if you want more water. It discharges water for 3 minutes. So keep your hand close to any sensor depending on your need.
It uses a rechargeable battery. You can charge it by using a USB cable. You just need to detach the unit and charge it. A full charge battery can last to 3 months.
