Xiaomi launches Mi Kids Watch 4 and Kids Watch 4 Pro in China

Xiaomi just announced two new smartwatches for kids. These watches are Mi Kids Watch 4 and Kids Watch 4 Pro. Both the watches look similar but differ in specs.

Mi Kids Watch 4 and Mi Kids Watch 4 Pro come with a 1.78-inch AMOLED display with 368 x 448 pixels resolution. The display has Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection to avoid scratches. These watches are swim proof and can survive in up to 20 meters of depth.

Both the watches have speaker and microphone for attending calls. These are compatible with Android 4.2 or later and iOS 8 or later.

Mi Kids Watch 4

There is no info about processor RAM or storage added in Mi Kids Watch 4. But we know that there is a Snapdragon Wear 2500 processor with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage in Mi Kids Watch 4 Pro.

These watches have two cameras and specs are different. Mi Kids Watch 4 has 5 megapixels rear camera and 5 megapixels selfie camera. Mi Kids Watch 4 Pro comes with 8 megapixels rear camera and 5 megapixels selfie camera.

There’s also support for eSIM and 4G VoLTE calling. Other connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2 LE, GPS (L1 + L5), and NFC. Both the watches pack 920mAh battery with up to 5 days of battery life.

Mi Kids Watch 4 is priced at 899 yuan and Mi Kids Watch 4 Pro costs at 1299 yuan.
