Xiaomi has launched another entry-level phone Redmi 8A Pro in Indonesia. This is the same phone that was launched in India as Redmi 8A Dual.
Redmi 8A Pro features a 6.22-inch HD+ 19:9 2.5D curved glass Display protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 5.
It has a Dot Notch display and Aura XGrip design back. The phone comes in Midnight Grey, Sea Blue, and Sky White colors. There’s also a P2i nano-coating to make the phone Splash resistant. It weighs 188g and dimensions measure 156.48×75.41×9.4mm.
It packs an Octa-Core Snapdragon 439 processor with Adreno 505 GPU. It has 2GB and 3GB RAM models with 32GB storage. Storage is also expandable up to 512GB. The phone runs on Android 9.0 (Pie) with MIUI 11 out of the box.
The phone has a dual camera that includes 13 megapixels primary camera and 2 megapixels secondary camera. It has an 8 megapixels selfie camera.
The phone lacks fingerprint sensor but features Face Unlock.
It includes Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n with VoWiFi, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS + GLONASS, USB Type-C connectivity. There’s also a 5000 mAh battery with support to 18W fast charging.
The base variant with 2GB RAM and 32GB storage costs 1549000 Indonesian Rupiah. The model with 3GB RAM is priced at 1649000 Indonesian Rupiah. It will go on sale later this month.
